Noninvasive Vascular Diagnosis comprehensively covers all aspects of noninvasive evaluation of the circulatory system in the extremities. The increasing popularity of noninvasive techniques is not reflected in the number of comprehensive works on the topic and it is clear from the success of the first edition that the demand for an updated volume is increasing.

Dr. AbuRahma trained at Alexandria University Hospital, State University of NY, West Virginia University, Charleston Division, and Arizona Heart Institute. He went on to become a full time faculty member in the Department of Surgery at the Charleston Division of West Virginia University in 1978.
Dr. AbuRahma is currently a tenured Professor of Surgery, Chief of Vascular/Endovascular Surgery, and Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Integrated Vascular Residency Programs at WVU in Charleston, WV. He serves as the Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory, a position he has held since 1978, Co-Director of the Vascular Center of Excellence at Charleston Area Medical Center, and he is a registered vascular technologist.
Dr. AbuRahma has published over 240 articles, 190 abstracts, 100 book chapters, and seven textbooks in vascular surgery and noninvasive vascular technology. He is also the Associate Editor of the textbooks, Rutherfordâs Vascular Surgery, 8th Edition (published in 2014), and the 9th Edition (2017). He has made presentations at over 450 national and international medical conventions.
