Book 4. Ilse Beck FBI agent has a past.. Born in Germany to a monster of a father and kept as prisoner with her siblings before she escapes.. Abused and terrified. But that was Hilda not her now. Trying to get to the bottom of the notes arriving to Hilda, Ilse goes to Germany to the prison where her father is for life to get answers on the notes.. But all does not turn out as planned.. Back in USA Ilse is put on a case of apparent suicides until she realises past clients are included. This turns to a hunt to catch a serial killer, fast paced, exciting really enjoying this series..

This is a nice follow up to Book 3. Strong pulls you in and keeps you there until the very end. Although there were some editing issues, the tension and plot keep you tight in their grip so you really don’t care. Can’t wait for more of Isle’s story in Book 5. **I received this book in exchange for an honest review. **

Not Like This is a good story, well-written, and with a good plot that mixes Ilse's past with her present. Her life in Germany, though, still remains very much of a mystery to herself, and she seems to be slowly rememering bits of those difficult times. Her relationship with her boss Rawley, and her partner Tom also seems to be improving and she definitely, in this story, has got the training and talent to get the bad guys in cuffs! The criminal they are facing in this story is a tormented mind and a very bad one, hopefully he will be caught by the FBI team.
