As usual, Okina Baba manages to keep the story of our little spider girl (whose name is now revealed in this volume, in various ways) interesting. In volume 4, some of the Shun-side dragged a bit, but here it certainly added to the rest of the story, and I'm eager to find out where things go from here, (even as someone who read the web novel translations.)

The plot progresses nicely, a little exasperating since the POV changes from character to character at important points, but it served the great purpose of tying some ends and giving an answer to long asked questions.

Great read, finally making sense of the timeline. It's gone a way I did not expect but do not dislike. Lots more action and a little more backstory on a character or two that were previously a mystery! love this series.
