What a great start to an unconventional hero! This first volume of 'One Punch Man' has soo... much packed into one book. *** FYI, if you've seen the first season of the Anime, this is the exact same story. *** From Saitama's (aka OPM) origins/struggle, meeting Genos (his serious student), to a pretty interesting collection of villains along the way, and all of this is wrapped up in a funny take on the heroes genre and action Manga. FYI, if you've seen the Anime, you'll see the event that started the heroes agencies later. Anyhow, I think this is worth checking out (even if you've seen the Anime). It's still the same great story and you get to see some amazing illustrations to boot.

Don't get me wrong, One Punch Man is great and all, but the fact you gotta pay $10 for each voume is outrageous when you can literally read it for free on apps literally on this store itself. What a rip off.

You'd think that always seeing someone beat up his enemies in one hit would get boring, no. It would be boring if this was made by an amateur mangaka but this was made by a professional with excellent artstyle. The plot is good, the art is good, this manga overall is good.
