Anil Maini is currently a consultant in defense technologies. He is the former director of the Laser Science and Technology Centre, Defence Research & Development Organization, Ministry of Defence (India). He received his BE (electronics) from Punjab Engineering College, Punjab University, Chandigarh and his Ph.D. from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
