About the author
Gerd W. Wähner, Jahrgang 1941, lebt in Berlin. Als Fotograf und Sachbuchautor ist er einem kleineren Interessentenkreis bereits bekannt. Beruflich brachte der Autor es auf dem zweiten Bildungsweg vom notorischen Schulschwänzer bis zum Doktor der Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Ein Stück dieses Weges lässt er seinen Protagonisten im autobiografischen Roman "Ostvorstellung: Matinee" nachverfolgen. Überdies ist W. viel und gern in der Welt unterwegs, fotografiert, notiert seine Reiseerlebnisse und veröffentlicht sie.
