He holds a Master's degree and has won many writing awards for his short stories, essays and articles that regularly appear in prestigious magazines such as Outdoor Life, Popular Science and Saturday Night, among others. His travel stories are often broadcast on National Public Radio. Steve lives in upstate New York.
