Doretha F. Wright was born in Fruitland, Maryland and currently resides in Salisbury, Maryland. A graduate of James M. Bennett High School, Miss Wright moved to St. Paul, Minnesota at the age of seventeen where she lived for fourteen years. She attended St. Paul Technical College where she studied Allied Health pursuing a career in Healthcare. She also lived in California for four years where she attended MT. San Jacinto College and studied Human Services and American Sign Language. Miss. Wright is currently attending Christian World College of Theology where she has earned her first year certificate in Biblical studies and is working on her Associates Degree. She is a worship leader, nursery worker and works in the food pantry at Harvest Fields Church where she attends. Miss Wright is the oldest of four living siblings and the daughter of Jeanette (Wright) Hitch and the late Douglas Wright Sr.
