About the author

PRASANTA SAHOO (Ph.D., IIT, Kharagpur) is with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Dr. Sahoo has more than ten years of teaching experience both at postgraduate and under-graduate levels in the areas of tribology, mechanisms and design. A life member of Tribology Society of India, he has written a number of research articles in international journals.
