This book addresses an overall approach presenting comprehensive principles and description of the analysis and design of prestressed concrete members, from its initial design concepts, analysis, to the construction stage. The structural components are analyzed and designed to conform to the requirements of Eurocodes, [that are similar to Indian Standard Codes] followed throughout the world. In order to elaborate on the concept of prestressed concrete, seven different cases are dealt with in this book to add an analytical approach to the subject. The concepts explained are well-supported with the mathematical derivations and problem formulations. Illustrative figures and tables further help in making understanding of the concepts easier.
