He was the director of the Resala satellite channel , He has written many books in various fields of interest to him. Dr. Suwaidan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1975. He received his master's degree with honors in Petroleum Engineering in 1982. Received a PhD with honors in Petroleum Engineering in 1990
