This final book from Rosemarie Said Zahlan, renowned scholar of Middle East Politics and History, explores the relationships between Palestine and the Gulf since the 1930s. These relationships have ebbed and flowed, crisscrossed barriers and events, and taken on different forms. Dr. Rosemarie Said Zahlan was one of the foremost academic historians of the Gulf states. She was the author of The Origins of the United Arab Emirates; The Creation of Qatar; and The Making of the Modern Gulf States.
