About this ebook

Some girls say no. Some boys don't listen.

When Grace meets Ian, she's afraid. Afraid he'll reject her like the rest of the school, like her own family. After she accuses Zac, the town golden boy, of rape, everyone turns against her. Ian wouldn't be the first to call her a slut and a liar.

Except Ian doesn't reject her. He's the one person who looks past the taunts and the names and the tough-girl act to see the real Grace. He's the one who gives her the courage to fight back.

He's also Zac's best friend.

It does a good job of explaining the dynamics that are involved when a girl is sexually assaulted and her life is upended. I truly appreciate how Ian had to come to the conclusion of believing her on his own and not because it would be a good plot point to drive the story by making him believe her from the start. It shed light on the question of identity as a teenager and how the world around you especially your friends and family are a large factor when it comes to the person you are going to be. Grace is one of my favourite people because she refused to confirm and also I might have a soft spot for grunge. She is truly and inspiration and her story helps girls and boys get a deeper understanding of how the things they say and do have an impact on other people's lives.

I loved the connection between grace and Ian the moment they started spending time together. I'm 13 and I have read more books in my life than the average person, and this is by far one of the most captivating and well written romance novel I have read. At first it kind of went slow but as soon as I got caught in it I couldn't put it down. It took me less than 2 days. It was absolutely astonishing. You should definetly read this.

This book is AMAZING I got attached for sure with Grace. I cried, screamed and felt pain. I wanted to jump into the book and just hold her. This is a reality that other young ladies face. But for sure the book is 10/10 ❤️
