About this ebook

Enjoy this steamy, emotional, second chance at love, rockstar romance.

She’s my redemption. My second chance. If my past doesn’t destroy me first…

Jack

I bared my soul to Erin so the world could know my story.

In the process, she became my everything. And now the brutally honest memoir she helped write is a bestseller.

But the demons it was supposed to silence are louder than ever because now every interview question is a painful reminder of the woman I once loved and lost.

And if I don’t find a way to let go of my past, to surrender my guilt, I’m going to lose Erin, too.

Erin

Everyone loves Jack’s unapologetically raw and exquisitely beautiful story.

I’m the only one who knows that he’s still broken.

That’s why he’s in the studio making music with ghosts instead of here with me.

There’s something visceral and dangerous in his gaze when he looks at me, but it’s not enough. Not when I’ve spent my entire life being put second.

And while I want him to be mine, he’s still someone else’s.

Jack has the power to break me. But only if I let him…

Breath To Bear is the second book in the Blood & Bone series and is NOT a standalone. The books must be read in order for the best reader experience.

Jack & Erin’s story is for readers who love steamy, emotional rockstar romances, with a touch of humor, a whole lotta angst, and a happily ever after.

Content Warning: This book contains some sensitive subjects about loss and drug use so please take care while reading.

Jack And Erin are back in the exciting sequel to Blood and Bone. Jack just can’t seem to get over the past to start again. He just can’t let go of memory’s that haunt him day and night. Sometimes I can’t stand to be inside my own skin. I think too much. My mind never stops and I’m exhausted. Erin cares about Jack but just can’t compete with a ghost. “Sometimes you find a partner like Mia to write with and it’s like catching lightning in a bottle. You can’t replicate it if you tried,” I explain. Watching Both of these lost souls have to overcome So much to finally reach there HEA was a amazing journey. “Watching the fireflies,” I say, as they dance in front of me. “Why do you think they do that?” he asks. “Maybe they’re trying to light their own way home.” Just Beautiful!!

After the first book Blood and Bone I was not sure how a second book could compare to the amazing first. I was so wrong, Jack O'Donald struggles after his life story is out there for all to read, not the book per say but finally letting go of Mia. He gets lost in the final unpublished album they last created together, feeling that it is just missing something. He is trying to move on with his love life but how can he be committed to one amazing women when he can't let the ghost of his past go. This book was absolutely amazing, that you feel the depth of sadness as all of the band especially Jack and Cash move on and try to repair their long friendship. I hate to give away to many spoilers but parts of it brought me to tears because you feel as you know each character. Absolutely must read and I can't wait to dive in to book 3 Mia's point of view in Bonds we Brake and 4 Cash's Story, Bound to Burn.

Forgiveness is a long hard road, so follow the fireflies that light the way home. Jack should be over the moon. The book that he co-wrote with Erin is on the best selling list. Relationships with the boys and his family have been better and at least no one has had to take care of him. Erin is pulling away from him. He knows exactly how to fix it, but the past can sometimes be the hardest thing to let go. It is going to take possibility of losing everything again, for Jack to see that something like forgiveness has to start within yourself. Erin has a lot on her plate as well. She has been through a lot with this book, and with Jack. They have a great thing going, but the past can sometimes be too much to live up to. She reaches her breaking point and decides that she can't be second to a ghost, both with Jack and her family. Once again, the surprises will sneak up. The laughs and the love are there but those tearful spots are there, proving that this author is making her mark as, "the collector of reader's tears." I loved how the characters were able to work through their experiences. They learn that the family you create will always be there when you need them the most. I can't wait to read and cry more!
