About the author

Paula is the Founder of the Matrix Management Institute and the primary developer of the Matrix Management 2.0™ (MM 2.0™) operating system.  

Paula began working on the concepts of the MM 2.0 system in the early 1990's and formalized the system in 2013 with the publication of the MM 2.0 Body of Knowledge (now part of the MMI wiki site) and the Matrix Maturity Model.  

She is the author of Matrix Management Reinvented: The New Game in Town, which is being revised and reissued under the title: The New Matrix: Cracking the Code to Making a Matrix Work, and she is the author of a new graphic novel, available in 2024, entitled: A Culture of Failure: A Penelope and Hobart Case Study.

Cathy is the Executive Director of the Matrix Management Institute and a co-developer of the Matrix Management 2.0™ (MM 2.0™) operating system.  

Cathy oversees the strategy for developing products and services to aid organizations and leaders in succeeding in today’s complex, dynamic environment.  

Cathy has more than 20 years of business consulting experience, working with governments as well as public and private organizations. She is a Matrix Management 2.0 Master Consultant, developer of matrix management content and the author or co-author of several books, including her most recent publications, The Collaborative Project Management Planning Toolbook and Collaborative Decision Making Toolbook.
