About this ebook

The New York Times bestselling reinterpretation of the Ten Commandments from the larger, louder half of the world-famous magic duo Penn & Teller.

A scathingly funny reinterpretation of the Ten Commandments from the larger, louder half of world-famous magic duo Penn and Teller reveals an atheist's experience in the world: from performing on the Vegas strip with Siegfried and Roy to children and fatherhood to his ongoing dialogue with proselytizers of the Christian Right and the joys of sex while scuba-diving, Penn has an outrageous sense of humor and a brilliantly entertaining opinion on, well, anything you care to think of.

I'm not a huge fan of Penn Jillette, even though I share many of his views. However, I found this book to be funny, profound, sad and silly. Over the course of the book I experienced just about every emotion you can have. I thought the book would make me fell uncomfortable, but Penn makes you feel loved and respected even if he doesn't agree with you (or vice versa). It's a wonderful book that nearly everyone should read.

A very entertaining read! While reading this book I felt like I actually met or got to listen to Penn talk. He writes in a way that he can clearly pass along his intended message without losing his voice in written text! Bravo good sir!

Penn seems like a big loveable teddy bear. The way he thinks is amazing, his views were very interesting in a good way! He doesn't hold back much. LOL some parts of the book had me cracking up laughing (blow dryer story) others made me tear up. I loved it!! Finished it in 3 days.
