About this eBook

Wyn and Remy Gastineau were perfect together…

Until, without warning, Remy walks out on their life, their love and their marriage.

Wyn is blindsided and heartbroken. It takes her years to get over the loss of Remy.

Sometime later, their children call a family meeting and Remy is acting strange. Wyn refuses to hope. Remy has moved on. She must do the same.

But she’s wrong.

Remy wants her back and he’s pulling no punches. He’s determined to do the work to piece together the marriage he shattered. Forced by circumstances to tell Wyn things he never wanted her to know, Remy reveals his tragic secrets.

As the family reels from pain long buried now laid bared, Wyn realizes instead of letting go, she has to hold tight to the man and the family they made that’s perfect together.

“…the deep bonds of family, the imperfectly perfect characters, the REAL LIFE and real love. The story is immaculate.” -Verve Romance

This whole story was full of super emotional ups and downs. This author’s trade mark sexy alpha males and stylish strong women. Remy and WYN had the a beautiful marriage or at least she thought they did until he walked out.Years later he realizes he made a huge mistake. “God, you suck. You’re just supposed to be beautiful and talented and demanding and vain. Not wise. Three grown children that want nothing more than to see them back together. Plenty of girl posse goodness and drama out the wa

Only this authour would give us a love story that starts with the couple’s marriage imploding! Sounds like a bad start to a romance, but it really made everything else that follows more poignant, more meaningful, and more significant. These two learn about themselves, about each other, about the perfect life they thought they had, and where the cracks had always been. That even when they thought they had it all figured out, they glossed over some things, and blatantly ignored others.

Absolutely loved this one! I got sucked in from the first page and couldn't put it down until I finished it. Marriage in trouble books are my jam. Despite the fact that this opens when they are married and Remy is asking for a divorce, and the book really starts three years after the divorce, this feels less like second chance and more like marriage in trouble. Kristen Ashley is a queen at writing angsty romances where the men can make mess up big, but still have you rooting for them in the end.
