For many generations this type of Python has been respected by all religious people because of its friendlyness. Also one true theory say that this snake is the only known Gentle Giant Snake that never attacks any creature that never bothers it.

It was helpful. I am looking for more information about why a ball would strike after handling him on several occasions

just wanted to answer Scott Benson? Pythons will normally strick when hungry, stressed, unhealthy, hands smell like there food, or the just plan mad. From my experience it doesn't matter how much you handle them. Everytime you open the tank your taking a chance of them striking. It just depends on the snake my pastel sweet as pie, my Mojave stricks at everyone that's not me.
