This book, written by key researchers in the field, provides a comprehensive analysis and overview of the state of the art of plasma-based cancer therapy. Michael Keidar is the A. James Clark Professor of Engineering at the George Washington University. His research concerns plasma medicine, advanced spacecraft propulsion, and plasma-based nanotechnology. He has authored over 280 journal articles, over 290 papers in refereed conference proceedings, 3 books, 2 book chapters, and 12 patents. He received the 2017 Davidson Award in Plasma Physics, and in 2016 he received the American Institute of Astronautics and Aeronautics (AIAA) Engineer of the Year Award for his work on micropropulsion, which resulted in the successful launch of a nanosatellite with plasma thrusters developed by his laboratory.
