IN THE FACE OF LONELINESS AND POVERTY, CAN LOVE ENDURE?

It was love that drove Polly to marry Harry Pilgrim. A love, she believed, that would meet every test that life could make. But a girl in love cannot always see what the future will bring ...

Life has never been easy for her. But just when it seems that the worst must be over, Harry loses his job and is forced to move south to look for work, leaving Polly behind.

Is their love strong enough or could loneliness and poverty drive her into the arms of another man?
