Kay T. Payne, PhD, CCC-SLP (Retired) is recognized as the foremost authority on the Speech-Language Pathology Praxis. For more than two decades, she has delivered textbooks, articles, chapters, online study tools, workshops, and distance courses that have assisted thousands worldwide in improving their performance on the Praxis. Dr. Payne is Professor Emerita of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Howard University. For her achievements and contributions, she received the highest Honors of the Association from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
