I have my master's degree in education, and have spent many years teaching in elementary and middle school classrooms. During that time I've seen numerous children, both in my classrooms and amoug my friends, who have issues stemming from poor parenting decisions. Caring for children and their worried parents caused me to develop a passion for communicating guidelines for parenting according to God's plan. I've had conversations with parents from all walks of life who are asking the same questions: "Why is it so hard to be a parent? What am I doing wrong? Where are the answers that really work?" Based on these questions and my own concerns as I parented my three children, I pulled knowledge and understanding from my childhood experiences and God's word, to come up with guarenteed answers. This book is a culmination of all the things I've learned growing up, parenting my own children, and teaching in various age-level classrooms. I now live in Evans, Georgia where I baby-sit five of my grandchildren, ages sevon months to 14-years old. I continue to use these principals with great success, and see God's hand of blessing on me as I practice parenting according to His will.
