About this ebook

Olivia McCade prefers flowers to people. Other than the occasional thorn poke, she figures plants are far less likely to hurt her.

It was that realization that caused her to leave her nursing career behind and settle into the calming aromas of her flower shop. The plan worked great... until a huge wedding contract put her face to face with the man who broke her heart and shattered her dreams.

Needing someone at her side to help her through this, Olivia turns to Sam Hunter. He’s been a constant reassuring presence in her life, someone who will never let her down, or hurt her.

But Sam has a secret all his own. For years he’s hidden his true feelings for Olivia. Now, as she looks to him for comfort, Sam must find a way to juggle her fragile heart and his own stirring emotions.

A wonderful continuous book to this series. I love that the author carries over characters from previous stories in the series. Her main characters, Olivia and Sam, have giving characters that come through beautifully, but even they have their limits. A friend from Olivia's past is getting married and asked for her help, and the friends Memphis guest aren't like the people from home; that's doubly true of the fiance. Sam sees something he misinterprets and things just goes downhill from there. Grab this very poignant story and see what these two wonderful people go through to finally get to their happy ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Olivia let former coworker and schoolmate Alexandra walk all over her, constantly complaining and treating her like an extra unpaid wedding planner to the point of where Olivia was making herself sick. On top of that she had to deal the lecherous fiancé who was her ex constantly hitting on her. Her best friend Sam has been in love with Olivia for years, but she rejects him when he tells her afraid to ruin their friendship and I think Nicholas made her a little distrustful of a man’s romantic intentions. That Sam would think she would want to be with a man who was marrying another woman made me shake my head. Doesn’t he know what kind of person his best friend is? But then I guess it added to the drama in the story.

A bit predictable but a sweet and easy reading romance book.
