This book is essentially a detailed Sniper Training manual for use by Military/LE Snipers, Competition shooters, Long Range Hunters, and other enthusiasts.

It describes, in detail, methods of range and wind estimation and includes practical exercises to ensure that the reader understands the methods outlined and also has a quick reference guide for the most commonly used equations in this skill set.

The book was primarily written for those new to long range shooting however, I hope that even experienced shooters will benefit from the book.

It is very good and summarised. Very worth having as a field guide in your phone. I only gave 3 instead 5 for the lack of touching the topic of magnification in scopes, since it does influence ranging calculations a lot.

As a Brit, some of the Americanisms have to be interpreted, and the use of Wikipedia as a reference is alarming. The content however is first class. Practical, simple and logically presented. One possible typo I have to check, but a really clear reference for long range shooting.

Very informative, excellently documents many equations that are essential to long range calculations. A very good pocket guide for those who prefer to do the math rather than use an app.
