Jamel Gross has a very passionate and inspirational style of writing, formed by the many experiences and challenges he’s faced through his journey of life. Despite his success in his previously book, Behind my Shadow: Seeing through Poetry, he still manage to mentor a group of teens and express to others the importance of positive change. Additionally, he hopes to open up a teen center for at risk youth in his home town area of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
