I've read several books written by Rebecca Hamilton; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the fourth book in the Conduit Series; Abram has left New York, Charisse finds herself in the middle of supernatural war. When Abram returns he has been brainwashed to believe she is the enemy. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

Charisse and Abram go through a lot in Granted By The Beast, book four of the Conduit Series. Char's left to deal with the supernatural war alone as Abram has lost his memory and Santina is dead. Not only is she having to deal with a budding war she has to deal with someone close to her who wants her dead. Char's journey in this series is packed with mystery, suspense, chaos, and unexpected twists that make this a great read. I can't wait to read the next book to find out how the story ends.

I have to say this is my favourite book so far in this series. Ramsey and Charisse are trying to clean up the evil that the Brothers are bringing to the area. You get a big surprise when some shadow elf tries to trick Charisse into killing the huntsman. Then Abram shows up but he is no longer the same and tries to kill Charisse. So much happens in this book, one surprise after another. This story has a female genie which is called a djiniri, the twist is once you get your three wishes you have to take her place. This story has so many twists. The book ends on a good ending but then it gets a twist too. I would recommend this book and series.
