📖Cute story: bringing a hotel & romance back to life🗼✨I found this a good, entertaining and festive read. The present day romances of lead female character Anais De la Croix and her cousin/best friend Manon were not the main focus, but Anais's transformation from a betrayed former wife who suspects the actions, words and motives of all men to a woman open to romance is. Anais is a published romance writer. The hotel's mystery rooms she discovers add some romantic suspense.

A very enjoyable story about a French romance novelist, Anais, who receives a run-down hotel in Paris in her divorce settlement and moves into it with her cousin and sets about renovating it quickly in order to open at least some of the suites of rooms before Christmas as she needs the money. Very romantic and enjoyable!
