More of a 3.5 star review. While this is a solid story, that flows, it’s not my favorite book within the SSA. Even though I’ve loved Liam since Dallas and Jane’s trilogy, and Xena is a strong female character, I didn’t really connect with them. They definitely had the chemistry, I just can’t place my finger on it. I felt like some of the background of the secondary/tertiary characters felt a little unresolved even though I see why the author did what she did.

This is another great installment of the series. I was instantly hooked on this book. Xena's back story broke my heart.I just wanted to give her a great big hug.It's shows how much inner strength she has to see see where she is now. Liam is yummy! He's protective take no prisoners personality is perfect for Xena. He has a tough back story as well, but Xena is going to show somethings are so worth the risk. Some parts of this book kept me on the edge of my seat. It was also nice to catch up with characters from previous books. This is a book you can get easily lost in and look up and see hours have past.This book delivered on heart, heat, and suspense.

Intriguing, and Suspenseful! This is the third book in the Stark Security series, and the story of Liam, and Xena. When Xena is tasked with the job of finding her boss a bodyguard/ security, she hires Liam. When Liam, and Xena meet their is an instant connection, and spark fly, but Xena has secrets, and when they come out, they are all in danger. Can Liam keep Xena safe, and eliminate the threat? Can they let down their wall and let each other in? This was another great read in the Stark universe, I love these characters, they are well written, and have hot chemistry. This book was emotional, steamy, intense, dramatic, twisted, mysterious, and suspenseful. A must read!!!
