Dr. RAJNI SOFAT is Co-ordinator, Finance & Commerce department at Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT), Ludhiana, Punjab. She has twenty five years of academic and research experience. She has also contributed more than 30 research papers to reputed national and international journals. She is the main author of books on Basic Accounting and Strategic Financial Management by PHI Pvt. Ltd. She has also been awarded with the prestigious Rashtriya Gaurav Award and Certificate of Excellence for her meritorious services and outstanding role in the field of academics. She had also been nominated for many other prestigious awards like Sadbhavana Award, Rashtriya Ekta Samman, Best Citizen of India Award. She is guiding 4 Ph.D. candidates under her. Presently, she is associated with the consulting company in Canada as a Business Coordinator.
