Coal Miners vs. Biblical Creatures!

All new tale picking up from where the critically acclaimed CARBON graphic novel left off. What if there really was a Garden of Eden - a place with a history before the first people we know of? A civilization cursed and banished underground for breaking their own commandment to live in balance with the Earth. When an evil coal operator discovers that the "sacred" carbon can burn forever, he will sacrifice the land and the people to extract the full deposit. When he awakens and releases a hell the surface world cannot imagine, the only thing that stands in the way of the ecological disaster, is a disgraced, ex-pro baseball pitcher and a community of courageous coal miners.

THIS ISSUE: "The Big Blow" - As the fire storm begins, Jacob's group attempts to float their precious salt cargo down river in an old coal tugboat. In the final showdown over the remaining sacred coal, great family sacrifices are made. Just as the few survivors get their vessel back on course, the massive fracking operation injects the freezing compound under the fire with disastrous results. And the mystery of the red salt is finally revealed in this epic series conclusion.
