About the author

Samiya Khan is a research fellow at the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. She is an alumna of the University of Delhi, India, and did her PhD in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, India. Before joining the University of Wolverhampton, Samiya also briefly served as faculty at Jamia Millia Islamia teaching subjects such as Big Data Analytics and Innovative Technologies for Startups. As an active researcher, she has contributed several research papers, and her publications extend across journal articles, conference papers, book chapters and edited books in high-impact publications of international repute. Khan’s expertise spans data science, artificial intelligence, edge computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and development of heterogeneous systems. Her current research focuses on using artificial intelligence for IoT applications.
