Families stand by helplessly as their loved ones are devoured by this culture. The money spent on drugs by one addict, in one day, could probably feed a whole family in some countries for a month or longer! Sharkeys only purpose for Sanity 365 is that in some way it may give you an extra little lift at some point during your day and remind you that the war is over and you survived it. We all know people who are still fighting; dont forget them! To the family of the user, Sharkey also understands the helplessness that you feel since you most likely tried everything that has been suggested in the way of solutions. If the results have been negative so far, dont give up hope; dont give the kidnapped one the excuse that you dont care. Make them accept the responsibility for their own situation. You are not forcing drugs on them. Seek help for your own sanity, because it will continue to be tested.
About the author
When Norman Sharkey accepted the reality that Santa Claus was a myth, he also decided that God was no different. Therefore, he had no need to be honest or be afraid of going to hell. When he was fourteen, the discovery of drugs allowed him to do things guilt-free, and the insanity began.
