About the author

Satya Sudhir is a professor of Architecture from Bangalore and has published several award-winning research papers in the field of Architecture. But, her inspiration to venture into non-technical writing was triggered when she won the creative writing contest at IIT Madras in 2000. Since then, she has been writing for newspapers and magazines on everyday subjects. ‘A Hundred Red Roses - A cookbook for the new bride’ is a collection of recipes from her kitchen and has been written exclusively for a new bride who wants to learn cooking. This is her first book.

Her other interests include art and singing gospel music.
