About the author
Shiv and Savy from Trichy turned a near-fatal accident into an opportunity to transform thousands of lives in this beautiful temple town. Shiv, an engineer and an MBA, left his corporate career and along with Savy, a psychologist, resolved to put every sinew of effort into enriching the lives of people. They have conducted thousands of workshops, career guidance programs, introduced innovative teaching methods and transformed over a million lives, mainly students and couples, in semi-urban and rural India. Along with their teenage daughter, Sagarikka, they brought about a revolution in education through a bold and radical experiment. Shiv and Savy have been involved in CSR initiatives by training the rural youth on vocational skills and constructing toilets for girls to prevent them from dropping out of schools.
