Buy this book! It’s fun, funny, clear and inspiring! It’s a step by step guide to getting out from under the mountain of stuff that occupies our homes. You’ll benefit from the years of expertise and energy the authors have devoted to the topic.This is the most practical and helpful book I’ve seen on the subject. It’s like having a personal trainers to get your home in shape! Buy the book. You’ll be so glad you did!\

About the author

char Ward and Debra Varin-- This mother-and-daughter duo has been cleaning up Saint Paul, Minnesota, for many years. Schar Ward founded Domestic Engineering (a home cleaning service in 1973). Debra Varin worked with her mother and became the new owner in 2017, renaming the company Varin Enterprises. Deb's husband Perry, and her son Eric help her manage the business.


Schar is the author of Coming Clean Dirty Little Secrets from a Professional House Cleaner; It’s About Time and Teaching Children to Clean. Schar and Debra have traveled the United States, giving workshops and presentations that combine humor and hands-on cleaning help.


Schar was the "Green Cleaning Lady" for Twin Cities Live for two years, has appeared on numerous television shows, and has written many magazine articles. 

This is Debra’s first book. Schar and Debra combined their years of experience partnering with Ramsey County and helping people to save their homes to write "Are You a Junkaholic?"
