OMG! I cried all through this book, from page 5 through the epilogue. The author's simple but unflinching description of Candace's (and Luke's to some extent) journey from the escape from horror through the blind search for safety to the steps toward opening up to love just grabbed my gut and didn't let go. My life's events had no correspondence but the emotional journey they underwent sure resonates with my own. It was an incredible read; it gives me hope for my own future. Thank you

This book is a well written story . You become good friends with the characters in this book , and want them to marry and have their farm.
