Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Ethik, Note: 1,0, Evangelische Hochschule Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im folgenden Aufsatz wird es darum gehen, welchen Beitrag die Bibel zum ethischen Problem des Suizids leistet. Ist darin ein Verbot oder sogar eine Erlaubnis zu finden? Um diese Frage zu beantworten, habe ich die in der Bibel genannten Selbstmorde untersucht und eingeordnet, sowie weitere Bibelstellen, die sich auf das Thema beziehen lassen, erläutert. Argumente von bekannten Theologen wie Augustinus, Thomas von Aquin und Dietrich Bonhoeffer, die sich allesamt gegen den Suizid aussprechen, habe ich in meine Überlegungen miteinbezogen, so dass ich schließlich zu einem „Weder- Noch- Ergebnis“ kam.
