Dr. Taylor has presented nationally and internationally on Orem's Self Care Theory. She is the recipient of many awards, including Alumnae of the Year from Alverno College, Missouri Tribute to Nurses Nurse Educator, Kemper Fellow for Teaching Excellence, and the MO Alumni Association Faculty Award.
