Alexander is a writer, actor, musician and artist. When not writing, he composes music for theatre and film, plays guitar in a rock band and teaches Wing Chun Kung Fu. He lives in York, England with his wife Lucy and his son Marlowe, who was named after the private detective, rather than the writer.
