About this ebook

She has her eye on the prize. He has his eyes on her.

Former soldier, now rodeo cowboy, Huck Jones doesn’t believe in love or marriage. Still, a promise is a promise, and he’s prepared to honor his fallen team leader’s wish to walk his sister down the aisle in Marietta, Montana. When the groom bolts moments before the ceremony, Huck offers himself as her alternative groom.

Barrel racer Willow McBride hates the cowboy code, and the soldier code is even more annoying. She’s pregnant, not helpless, so when her late brother’s sexy friend offers himself as a sacrificial husband, the answer is a resounding no. She wants love not duty. Plus, the 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo is looking to be her last as a competitor, and she intends to win.

Huck may no longer be a soldier, but he still believes no man—or woman—should be left behind. He’ll need to woo the beautiful, stubbornly independent cowgirl and change her mind. Failure is never an option.

Y'all, I love Huck so much. So very much. This man is hurting inside and so determined to do the right thing, even when everything inside of him is begging to do something else. So sweet and giving and kind and I love him! Willow is lovely but so lost. She is trying to make these selfless decisions but again, everything in her trying to point out that it's not what she wants!! Oh!! I also absolutely adored Willow's mom!! I wish she had a bigger role near the end, and I wish there was some more about what she could see... I also loved reading about the rodeo and the rodeo life. Truly an enjoyable read!!

I couldn’t get enough of this book. Huck is the ultimate romance hero; tough, but with a soft side. He is in Marietta to walk his friend’s sister, Willow, down the aisle in her wedding. But things don’t go as planned and Huck soon finds himself making a life changing decision. I love how this story played out and how Willow and Huck finally ended up together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Sinclair Jayne gave us another great storyline with Marry Me Please, Cowboy. Book 3 in both The 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo and The Coyote Cowboys of Montana series. This book was another top book for me. Yes, it's part of two different series but I felt I was able to still read it without having read the previous books and I totally enjoyed it. I loved the character development, dialogue and so much more of this storyline. I look forward to reading more in the series.
