Acerca del autor

Alan Brennert is the author of the nationally bestselling novels Moloka'i, Honolulu, Palisades Park and Daughter of Moloka'i (all in print from St. Martin’s Press). He received a Nebula Award for his short story “Ma Qui” and an Emmy Award as a writer-producer for the television series L.A. Law, as well as a nomination for a Golden Globe (for L.A. Law). He has been nominated three times for the Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Teleplay of the Year for his scripts for China Beach, the 1980s revival of The Twilight Zone, and the anthology series Darkroom. "A longtime comics fan, Brennert has written occasionally for both DC and Marvel Comics; a collection of his stories for DC has been published as Tales of the Batman: Alan Brennert." He authored the libretto for the off-Broadway musical Weird Romance, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by David Spencer, which was based on his Twilight Zone episode “Her Pilgrim Soul” and James Tiptree Jr./Alice Sheldon’s story “The Girl Who Was Plugged In.” He and his wife live in Malibu, California.
