Mônica Carnesi (www.monicacarnesi.com) also wrote and illustrated Little Dog Lost, which was a Horn Book Fanfare Book, a Bulletin Blue Ribbon Book, a Bank Street Best Book, and winner of the Gryphon Honor Award.
