This book is designed with a clear objective to identify the need of the present generation and empower them with the right set of skills, nuances & modes of Speech Delivery to make them employable. Authors are of the view that there is a distinct mismatch between the economy and skills of the graduates, calling for the immediate partnership of academia and industry to fill this vacuum of soft skills in young graduates leading to poor employability. As a result, students have good theoretical knowledge, but they lack soft skills. These skills can be mastered, and they can bring a charismatic appearance to one’s personality..

Dr. Vipin Kumar Tyagi Dr. Vipin Kumar, Assistant Professor of English, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi- NCR, has a wide experience of more than 14 years in academics. He was conferred a Doctorate degree in English in 2007. He has a keen interest in research in English literature and language. He has also been awarded as CEGR Certified Academic Leader from the Centre for Education and Growth and Research. He is also a certified Human Values & Professional Ethics Trainer from IIT Kanpur. Last year, he published a book “Technical Communication Skills” from OPH, New Delhi. He has created a self-paced MOOC titled “English Grammar for Employability” on Swayam: NPTEL/AICTE Online Platform. 

Dr. Babita Tyagi is faculty in English Language and Communication Skills at KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR. She is Ph.D. in English Literature, MA English, B.Ed. having experience of Twenty-two years. She is a certified Soft Skills Trainer from IIT, Roorkee as well as a certified TESOL and IELTS Trainer. Giving hands-on training in soft skills and enhancing communication skills through interactive pedagogy in the Linguistics lab are her area of expertise. She has two books in her credit namely Professional Communication by EXCEL Publication, New Delhi and Study Notes on The Mayor of Catserbridge by Archana Publication, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She has a keen interest in research. She has a strong inclination towards exploring Communication Skills and British English Literature. She has continually involved in publishing research papers along with attending several National and International conferences. She has been recurrently upgrading her by attending numerous online FDP and courses for nourishing her intellect.  She has also been awarded with Best Teacher’s Award four times twice at IMS Engineering college, Ghaziabad and Twice at RKGIT, Ghaziabad. She is also a certified , Body soft skills, Human Values & Professional Ethics Trainer from IIT Kanpur.
