Reluctantly, she agrees to share some of the material with him. Bruno soon falls in the love with her, but she refuses his advances. Until he starts taking an interest in the strange case she is determined to uncover.

Wolfram Fleischhauer, geboren 1961 im Sternzeichen Zwilling in Karlsruhe, studierte Literaturwissenschaft in Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien und den USA, jobbte unter anderem als Schneepflugfahrer, Spanischlehrer, Gerichtsdolmetscher und bis zum Mauerfall als Telex-Schreiber in einem japanischen Handelshaus in Ost-Berlin, lebte nach dem Studium ein Jahr mehr schlecht als recht in Paris, um für seinen ersten Roman Die Purpurlinie zu recherchieren, entdeckte dabei seine Abneigung gegen französisches Mensaessen und seine Liebe zur französischen Sprache und Geschichte, beschloss nach einem Ausflug ins Wirtschaftsleben und der Verfertigung einer Markstudie über die Exportchancen von französischem Hundeshampoo auf dem amerikanischen Heimtierkosmetikmarkt sein Brot doch lieber mit Fremdsprachen zu verdienen, arbeitet seit vielen Jahren als Konferenzdolmetscher, tanzt leidenschaftlich gern Tango, meditiert am liebsten beim Kochen, ist mit einer Französin verheiratet, pendelt zwischen Berlin und Brüssel, hat zwei kleine Kinder und schreibt die Art von Bücher, die er immer gerne lesen wollte.
