It’s the 6th of June, 2050. Welcome to the Silkian Sci-Fi Fantasy Mothetic Adventures, namely, ‘SILKHYSTERIA’.


In this story it has been discovered that Silkworms can be transformed into humans and the current population around the globe is growing – you’ll be amazed by Silkies’.

Albeit that this is a fantasy story in essence, it does relate to our history, present time realities and possible known futures of planet earth inhabitants. Scientific experiments in DNA mutations occur. Social, economic, climatic, gender related living conditions for humans and its fellow creatures that share this planet are continuously unearthed in the storylines. Planetary galactic observations are clarified to discover a new living planet. Competitive survival activities happen amongst its characters of the story as they go about their lives. An e-sports game of existence gradually evolves in being, for ‘Silkhysteria’.


You’re about to be transported on a journey into the future beyond the year 2050. New inventions come to life in communications, transportation, entertainments and living on another planet, in another galaxy.


A global company WeaverSpinner Enterprises operates out of China. It was a scientist who discovered this transformation of Silkworms and has been employed by the company to do more. ‘Silkian’ experiments that have cross mutated Silkworm and Human DNA’s into becoming unique humans. They have knowledge and abilities beyond human beings.

Daniel Weaver is the Chairman and CEO of WeaverSpinner Enterprises, a company with many facets operating globally. The company has many operations from Communication Media, Airlines, Discovery Departments and more. Weaver is part of the global organisation H30. This organisation consists of the most powerful and wealthiest people who can influence and control world events and happenings.

Catarina Spinner-Weaver is married to Daniel. She is competent business person with flamboyancy, trickery and should not be underestimated in her personal pursuits.

Bazidirati is an entrepreneur based in Uzbekistan. Baz, is a product from a Silkworm project ‘bad batch’ and has been transformed into a ‘Silkie’. Baz has ambitions ten-fold and more. He will use many resources to get what he wants. He’s also an ex-lover of

Catarina. Baz has befriended Catarina and she loves him, but is afraid to let on or let go of Weaver. Catarina plays them off and will take either winner in her game of life.

Actions mainly take place in countries such as China, Korea, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Mongolia. A vision of Weaver’s beginning in China concludes in the Gobi desert with the help of Nomads. The establishment of a space centre in the Gobi, galactic journeys and living becoming a reality breathes new hopes for all.

Love stories? Of course there are. It’s what humans do. And now do some Silkies’, it seems!

People will read the lines of words, imagine between them and picture themselves on the Mothetic fantasy journey, that is ‘Silkhysteria’.

About the author

 Stephen Webb is a poet, writer and author of the new sci-fi fantasy novel, ‘SILKHYSTERIA’.


His aspiring creative mind ventures into the fictional realms but stem from his constant research learnings and realities of life. It may be some could describe him akin to often producing literary fairy tales. His stories told from the mind of himself but also on observations of others themselves.

As characters blended in scenes come alive its like they appear in a mirror of us revealing much more as read. From a rough idea where one may go, or wish to, improvisation happens along the way.


Stephen is now in his mid 60’s and currently based in Manchester, UK where he’s resided for the last six years.

He’s lived in countries like Australia, the United Kingdom and Malaysia and travelled to many more globally over his sixty five plus years of human life. His travels, ability to adapt, to mix with all races and genders, have growing friendships, brief encounters feature in his writings and poems.


Around ten years ago now he created the background facility for his writing, ‘Rhyme Island’. This has grown in from the potential of Stephen and diversified with his visions in becoming a reality.

Back in 2018, he published a comprehensive book of poetry, ‘Perceptions’. Not only have global sales occurred but his book was also accepted and is available throughout UK libraries.


Personal requests from people come often, from far and wide for him to write a poem with trust in him to deliver. Referrals can come along based on testimonials from others. He’s also had past enjoyments to create magazines for sporting clubs, organisations or the occasional freelance content contribution. Singers, Rappers, Celebrants have also been grateful recipients from their requests for his gift in words to help them. His work has bought him many an accolade, won poetry competitions and he has a huge following on the varying global social media platforms.


Stephen’s also highly educated to Bachelor degree level in business and human resources in leading his list of qualifications, gathered in a variety of working occupations, self-employment and businesses undertaken. His working life have bought about an extensive military career in the RAAF, Senior company management positions, work with The Prince’s Trust in the UK, and a few self employment business opportunities.


He’s had a strong family upbringing, good parentage, developed new family relationships and has forever a growing friendship with many people around the world. A kindness inside of him, fairness to give as receives, with a great sense of humour and probably more to discover as you integrate with him into the future.
