This was a very interesting first story in this series. I enjoyed Raine and her fight and perseverance throughout her tough situation. This was the first story I've read from Laura Greenwood about Dragons and I actually quite enjoyed it. It had brutality, strength, and a little bit of love. It left me eagerly anticipating the next story in the series and I can't wait to read that one as well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read a lot of books written by Laura Greenwood; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the 1st book of the Dragon Duels Series; when the duels start they have 250 people in the duel; but by the time it’s over there’s only about 15 left so when Raine is selected for the next duels she has to figure out how to survive.
