A threatening letter in the mail shatters the fragile tranquility of John Howard’s world. The note is unsigned, but the meaning is clear. Ronald Paxton was born in Richmond, Virginia and currently lives in Conway, South Carolina with his high school sweetheart and wife of forty-eight years. Mr. Paxton sold his first short story in 2008 and has since published approximately forty short stories and eight novels.
