About this ebook

Technology is changing at an unimaginable pace and is destroying a number of concepts and notions we have been living with. All aspects of life are under tremendous pressure of change. Our family life, the bonds between relations, our social bond, education, agriculture, etc., have already started witnessing changes. Even religious notions are getting restructured. So far, our education system is focused on making you capable of handling a job. However, the job market is changing and perhaps after, say, twenty, twenty-five years, there will be no jobs available to suit the skills you have acquired and the degree you possess. Biotechnology, gigantic computing capacity and artificial intelligence will reshape everything. It is, however, not certain as to how the shape of our lives and societies would look like. It is uncertain. The book discusses these vital sectors. It takes a brief account from where we have come, at what stage we are and how the changes will alter our lives. The name of the book, Pragaticha Pravas Adnyatakade, means that the travel of the progress is leading to the unknown.
