Nadia is in WITSEC after helping incarcerate her now ex-husband, Troy. She now goes by Nadine. She still lives in fear of being found by Troy's mob connections and so she applies to be a Vaxxlian mail order bride to escape Earth. Rozar is coming to Earth to claim his bride. Once he meets her, he can not fathom living a life without her. I liked this story, just wished it had an epilogue showing them happily settled and maybe a pregnancy announcement.

Exciting story. The problems with her ex making it hard for her to trust. But it has always been so interesting to me. What and why women would be a mail-order brides. Even now in this time and age they still do it. I think it takes a lot to make a woman do something like that. Good or bad, women are brave and strong enough to continue to do things like that. Very good story. I truly enjoyed it.

But even in the program, she knows she will never be completely safe, so she signs up for a Vaxxlian Alien Mail Order Bride program and is quickly matched to a warrior who will mate with her for life! She knew Troy’s men were still out there searching for her, even after 5 years. And her life had become one of constant fear and loneliness, not the life she wanted for herself. Signing up to leave Earth was not a difficult decision. She was ready for a safe, new life – even if it took her to another world. Five hundred Vaxxlian males arrived on Earth and were transported to the various locations to find their brides. Rozar was excited about meeting her and building a life with her. Nadia, however, was getting more nervous, worrying she was getting into this too fast. What if he was a cruel man like Troy? At the knock on her door, she froze! Peeking out from the curtain, she saw the huge alien who turned to look at her with a warm smile and welcome in his eyes, and he was holding a large bouquet of flowers for her! She only hoped that he was kind. Rozar had brought with him a syringe of nanobots to inject into her which would help her heal from any injury. She wasn’t even sure she would go through with the mating and didn’t want to take his only vial meant for his bride! He was confused at her reluctance, and she was still panicked at making a too-quick decision about this. Yet as they spent more time together, she saw he was nothing like Troy and that he was gentle and loving. When a fire broke out at an older neighbor’s house, Rozar went to make sure the woman was safely out of the house and the fire wouldn’t spread. But as Nadia turned to go back inside her own house, Troy stood in front of her! Would Rozar return in time to protect her as Troy began to punch and slap her? Would Troy kill her or drag her away to where Rozar would never find her? This was a wonderful story of a woman who was ready to face her fears and leave Earth for a new life on the alien planet of New Vaxx. She wasn’t sure what she would find until the gentle alien came into her life, kind, loving, and protective of the woman he already loved. Rozar more than proves to her that she made the right decision and he is all she needs. Will Troy rip it all away from them?
