When your first love comes blowing back into town it’s normal to throw a kiwi at his face right?

When a land developer tries to make the town more touristy which would shut down her Inn and my family restaurants can we put aside our differences long enough to work together?

Yes, we can.

Sunset is the second novel in the Chasing the Sun Duet, although all books in the Hummingbird Island world can be read as standalones. A HOT Beach romance with a guaranteed happily ever after and a second chance, it does have some strong language and oh my, sexy times. Enjoy!

"Sunset" is part of a duet. However, I did not read the first one and to me this reads as a stand alone story. This is a second chance read that is interesting and nicely developed with drama and flying fruit. Jasper and Brynn have a past together until he up and leaves. Now he is back in town and he realizes what he gave up. She is not going to make it easy on him though. This is a fun story with a wide range of emotions flowing through the pages.

Jasper and Brynn had been so close, but separated and he went to chef school. After five years in NYC, he is back after his father dies, to help his mother. Brynn has lost her parents recently, too, so they both are trying to move on and open their hearts again. The characters are strong and determined. The storyline has plenty of ups and downs, especially the boat in the storm. Friends and family are kept close and are so supportive. A beautiful second and third chance romance that is so emotional. Sunset is a great 2nd chance novel. Kaci Rose writing brings life to her characters. She continues her Chasing the Sun series with Sunset. It contains Brynn's story. Her high school boyfriend, Jasper, returns to Hummingbird Island after breaking her heart five years earlier. He wants a second chance with her. How hard will Jasper have to work to get the chance?
